Nice column, good thought, thank you.

I am left with the thought that so many many times I hear comments such as; “…nothing happens in God’s Universe by mistake…”. These comments lead me to believe that all things great and small happen because they are supposed to.

This thinking then lead me to the thought that; “whoever, for however long, or whatever they share at a meeting is the right and perfect thing and who am I to question it?”.

All of this includes me. The most important person in a meeting is Me. Without my “sobriety: I am no help to the newcomer. Therefore, if I have a problem in my life I had better iron it out and preferably at a meeting and quickly.

This all has worked since 8 Feb 1974 and I do enjoy basic, “…happy, joyous and free” sobriety today.
