I posted this image on my photo blog as a simple picture of a beautiful flower. They are, however, rather more than just beautiful flowers: they contain alkaloid hallucinogens that can cause people to do some pretty bizarre things.  While I was looking up the Species name, I ran across an interesting tale about drugs and what they can do to adventurous folks.
